Happy Holidays from ProperHost!

As 2013 is quickly coming to an end, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from the Team @ ProperHost.

It has truly been an exciting year for us, where several important and strategic events have taken place. In July/August we began rolling out our completely revamped hosting platform, powered by LiteSpeed Enterprise and CloudLinux. Over a period of three months, we replaced every server in our network with brand new servers, offering bigger and better hardware. This also marked the transition from old SATA based storage to lightning fast Solid-State Disks. The result is greatly enhanced performance and improved stability and uptime.

Following the new technology stack we have also added several new features; including integrated support for CloudFlare CDN and Web Optimization Services, free Magento Full Page Cache extension from Extendware (a leading provider of Magento extensions) to all customers, and the ability for end-users to restore file backups from inside their cPanels.

What’s next in 2014?

During 2013 we have been working hard to fulfill our promise of being the fastest and most reliable provider of high-performance ecommerce hosting. We have now established a solid foundation for growth, and in 2014 we will continue to evolve our services to truly become the leading provider of high-performance hosting!

Our main focus going forward is to expand our network of partners. Early 2014 will see the introduction of new partner programs, consisting of a highly rewarding Affiliate Program and a new Tiered Reseller Program. These programs will provide great opportunities for partners and affiliates to expand their business, by leveraging our products and services in order to create new revenue streams.

2013 was an exciting year, indeed, and we are confident 2014 will be even better!
