CloudFlare Features

CloudFlare CDN

Distribute your content around the world so it's closer to your visitors (speeding up your site). CloudFlare's global CDN (Content Delivery Network) consists of 23 data centers spread across the globe, and automatically caches your static files at edge nodes and uses a technology called Anycast to route your visitors to the nearest data center. Dynamic content which change more frequently is delivered directly from your web server.

The result is that your website, on average, loads twice as fast for your visitors regardless of where they are located. You'll be able to see the exact speed benefits and savings with your personalized CloudFlare analytics report for your site

CloudFlare Website Optimizer

CloudFlare RocketLoader automatically optimizes your pages to minimize the number of network connections and ensure even third party resources won't slow down page rendering. CloudFlare will minify and combine JavaScript and CSS files into a single request to avoid the overhead of multiple network requests.

CloudFlare Optimizer automatically detects the type of browser a visitor is coming from and delivers content in a way that optimizes the performance for a particular platform. Your pages will look exactly the same as they did before, including any mobile version you may have created, but they will be structured in an optimized way for the platform. What this means is that your website will be fast on both computers and mobile devices

CloudFlare Security

CloudFlare leverages the knowledge of a diverse community of websites to power a new type of security service. Online threats range from nuisances like comment spam and excessive bot crawling to malicious attacks like SQL injection and denial of service (DOS) attacks. CloudFlare provides security protection against all of these types of threats and more to keep your website safe.

CloudFlare Analytics

CloudFlare provides insight to your website traffic that you can't get from other analytics programs. In addition to visitor analytics, you can monitor threats and search engine crawlers. For most websites, these threats and crawlers make up 20% to 50% of traffic. This is traffic every website owner should understand, but most analytics services ignore.

CloudFlare Apps

Easily install 3.party web apps on your site fast, safe and with just one click. Integrating additional services into your website can improve your visitors' experience, enhance your business, and solve real problems. CloudFlare works with leading web application providers and independent developers to create a marketplace where apps can be installed with ease and confidence.

Professional and Business Features

The majority of features in CloudFlare are free to use, such as an state-of-the-art global CDN built from the ground up, intelligent content optimization, and real-time protection against security threats. By applying for a paid plan you will get access to even more features, such as prioritized requests, SPDY support, automatic "lossless" image optimization, a Web Application Firewall (WAF), SSL encryption support, advanced DDoS protection and much more!

We are very excited about the addition of CloudFlare to our services, and believe it will give our customers a competitive edge in the rapidly changing field of ecommerce.
