Refined User Interfaces

cPanel users will benefit from a quick-loading cPanel home page, as well as improvements to the Email Accounts interface. It now combines all the major functionality involved with email accounts into a single page: you can add, search, sort, and delete accounts, as well as change passwords and quotas, all without leaving the page. With its clean new design, this page provides a faster, more intuitive way to manage your email.

Another welcomed addition is the new Simple DNS Zone Editor. With it, users can now easily add/modify A, MX and CNAME records for their domains directly in the cPanel user interface. This means you no longer have to contact our support department to make such changes.

Improved Email Support for Mobile Devices

Version 11.25 provides a number of enhancements that improve IMAP access via mobile devices. For example, cPanel will use cookie instead of HTTP authentication with compatible devices, which will reduce the number of authentication requests by up to 50% in many cases.

Upgraded PHPMyAdmin and MySQL

cPanel 11.25 adds support for PHPMyAdmin 3 and MySQL 5.1. PHPMyAdmin is the number one online database management tool for MySQL, and with the new release it is easier than ever to manage your databases. MySQL 5.1 improves overall performance and offers plug-in architecture for table types. Note: MySQL 5.1 will not be available immediately as we need to make sure there is no compatibility issues resulting from the upgrade.

Improved Security

Safeguarding your server — and your peace of mind — are important to us. The new cPanel release adds numerous security features that help to ensure a safe environment for our customers. Among other things, a new security token system helps prevent cross-site request forgery (XSRF) attacks by appending URLs with a session token.

Performance

In addition to the above, the latest version of cPanel provides a host of enhancements which can lighten server load, resulting in faster response times. The mail server has been improved to reduce memory usage and increase the efficiency of mail delivery. Furthermore, the performance of the DNS cluster technology has been optimized.
